Ibrahim Akin is a self-made and seasoned lawyer.
He started his career as a rural primary school teacher after graduating from Ankara Teachers' School in year 1972. While he was teaching at a small village, he attended Gazi University Science Department and graduated with a university degree in year 1976.
In 1980 he started Ankara University Faculty of Law. After his graduation on year 1984, he has completed his apprenticeship and was admitted to Ankara Bar Association in year 1986.
Since almost four decades, Ibrahim Akin represents his clients with fragile background. With his teaching and legal background, he worked on refining the primary school curriculum in 1990s. Since his shift to legal profession, he is enthusiastic in legal philosophy. He is an active member of Lawyers' Apprenticeship, Publications and Ethical Committees of Ankara Bar Association.
He tries to identify the problematic areas of the society and ask right questions from a legal pespective to right problems.
He has various studies, speeches and publications on judgment ethics, judgment processes and legal philosophy.
